Rental Reimbursement

What is Included in Rental Reimbursement Coverage

Rental reimbursement or rental car coverage is an option you can add to your insurance policy that helps drastically after an accident. Your rental reimbursement plan pays for a rental car while yours in being repaired after a policy covered collision. This is an optional insurance and can be added to any policy you choose. This option works best when paired with comprehensive and collision coverage, which covers the repairs of your vehicle whether it is in an accident, damaged from nature, fire, or theft. This will not cover repairs that are needed for regular maintenance or vacation rentals.

Access Auto Insurance offers this coverage along with all of our policies as an addition. When you purchase rental coverage, Access will reimburse up to $25 per day for up to 30 days. You can find your own rental facility that you feel comfortable with and purchase your rental. Once we are notified we will send you a reimbursement check.

Since this is not a required part of your policy, you should consider how much it would be to pay a rental fee while your car is in repair. If you had to pay out of pocket is this an expense you would be able to afford? If you are unsure you could cover that rental fee, you may want to add this to your insurance policy. Access can add this to your plan on the same day. Call today to get more information or add rental to you plan 888-449-0171

We offer some additional options that we suggest adding to your insurance policy:

  • Roadside Assistance (Towing)
  • Collision and Comprehensive
  • Medical Payments
  • Uninsured Motorist
